Data deletion instructions
Version v1.2.0 · Effective August 15, 2026
This public page explains how to disconnect one social account, delete provider data held by Castify, or permanently delete a Castify account. If you already have a confirmation code, the request status appears before the instructions.
1. Choose the right request
To delete data for one social account while keeping your Castify account, sign in, open Social links, and select Disconnect. Castify asks the provider to revoke access, deletes the credentials, and deletes active provider data for that connection.
To delete the entire Castify account, open Settings → Privacy choices → Delete account. You must enter your current password and the word DELETE; active collaborations must be completed, cancelled, or resolved first.
If you remove Castify in Facebook Business Integrations, Meta may send a signed deletion request to Castify's public callback. Castify verifies the signature, deletes the Facebook/Page connection matching the app-scoped user ID, and returns a confirmation code and status URL.
2. What happens after submission
For a whole-account request, Castify disables the account and revokes its login sessions as soon as the request is accepted, then places durable deletion work on a retryable queue.
The worker asks TikTok, Meta, and Google to revoke usable grants; deletes OAuth tokens; removes social accounts, bank details, KYC, preferences, notifications, calendars, and profile data that is no longer needed; and deletes or pseudonymizes account identifiers.
Castify returns a confirmation code that contains no login credential. Keep the code and status URL; the page refreshes while the request is queued, processing, completed, or requires support.
3. What is deleted and what may need to remain
Castify-managed avatars, package images, campaign images, KYC documents, and brand-verification documents enter the deletion flow. Deleting data from Castify does not delete accounts, videos, posts, or other content held by TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Google, or YouTube.
Collaboration records, messages, submitted content, payments, contracts, disputes, reviews, consent, and audit records may need to remain in restricted or pseudonymized form to preserve agreed rights, accounting, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, or legal obligations.
Evidence files attached to a retained record may remain only for the period necessary for that purpose. We do not retain reusable OAuth credentials merely to preserve a legal record.
When the retention reason ends, remaining data is deleted or anonymized under the applicable operating schedule. You can ask about a specific request by sending its confirmation code to support@castify.io.vn.
4. Revocation, timing, and support cases
YouTube data is refreshed or deleted within 30 days. When you disconnect, request deletion, or delete your Castify account, related YouTube data is deleted as soon as possible and no later than 7 calendar days.
Active TikTok and Facebook data is retained while the connection remains valid and deleted after disconnection or a valid deletion callback. Temporary provider failures are retried; the status page identifies requests that require support intervention.
A provider-side revocation may happen before Castify receives notice. Castify stops synchronization when a token is invalid; you may also send a request with your Castify email, provider, and username or handle so we can identify the correct data.
Start a request or revoke access
Use the control that matches the data you want to manage.
For TikTok, open the TikTok app → Settings and privacy → Security & permissions → Apps and services permissions, then remove Castify. You can also disconnect inside Castify so the system calls TikTok's revoke API.
